Actually pretty good game. Sadly I can't really play it fully on a Mac w/ safari.
Maybe add an alternative key to enter the ship. I have TAB activated to cycle between text boxes and when I press it i simply jumps to the URL bar, so I was never able to repair or update the ship. And full screen does not work for me so that's not a workaround. Also more common alternatives for pausing the game would be the P or ESC keys or an actual button on screen. A save option also sounds like a needed improvement. Good graphics! lots of potential.

I can't say I've had the time to test across different platforms at all yet, so these feedbacks are very useful! I'll definitely consider offering different button inputs or switchable control schemes to fix those issues!
Eh, fullscreen doesn't work for you at all? Was there the fullscreen button on-screen when you played?
Yeah, I've been considering the save option for a while, didn't get the time to implement it. Anyway, I feel like the saving system should be balanced with the 'retrys/lives' system, and I might change that so..

I like the ACT part. The shooting part is kind of unnecessary though. You can make the ACT part a Metroid style game.

Haha, sometimes I hear this, sometimes I hear just the opposite! Hopefully I'll manage to design the game so that players can focus on the game aspect they enjoy most.

I want to like this game, but there are some issues. The sperm enemies are a huge pain to deal with. It doesn't seem like you can revisit levels. Some of the player stages you can walk off the edge, and it's just game over, f5. My biggest gripe is that the ship levels are too easy, once you get the mining laser, nothing can get close to you, at least in the stages I got to.

The sperm enemies are somewhat designed to overwhelm you, especially if in numbers, although the hitboxes might need some work for the fight to feel more fair (I hear people say 'what!? that should've hit it!' a lot).
The walk off the stage part is fixed now, ugh, sorry about that! XD
Yeah that's funny, at first my friends thought the Laser was underpowered, but right now I'm really thinking of how to nerf it just enough.
I hope you'll be patient and still show some interest in the project when all those issues are dealt with!

The game has an unnerving feel to it. Im not sure if its the style or the music but I get some mega chills playing it o_O

Well, it sure might be the music! It has a lot of effect on me, I'd listen to the soundtrack even when not working on the game! (and trust me, you hear your soundtrack a lot while working on a game haha)
