Reviews for "Electric Rubber"

Did you change the medals because i couldve sworn yesterday there was only 2. But anyways I unlocked most already but its not saying that i unlocked them. Could you please check it out for me and fix it.

applessmillion responds:

Yup, I got a request to add more medals and things to do this morning, so I went ahead to see what could be added upon. All "spending" badges are based off of a variable I just added today, so any wattage you've spent before today hasn't been counted. If you're far enough into the game, the first few shouldn't be too difficult. The 15 Megawatt spending badge is hard though, takes around 20 minutes of playing from the start to get. Good luck if you do wish to try for them!

This is a very nice game, but with all the other Idle games out there, the concept is a bit common. It's still nice though. I found a few bugs too. I'm pretty sure someone already stated them, but just to be safe, I'll not them down here: 1) There's a problem with the mute button where at times the music isn't mute/unmuted in the settings but when you return to the main game, it's as it should be. 2) I have already bought the Fancy Battery upgrade, but there has been no cosmetic change whatsoever. I expected it to get the fancy look from the medals, but it's still the same battery. 3) 500,000 watts should be 500 kW right? Even though I have been offline and I made sure I have over 500 kW free in the battery, I still don't get the NG medal. I may have misread it, but better safe than sorry. 4) This is more of a suggestion than a bug. I suggest changing the golden background color to this hex code: #D4AF37, because currently it looks more like a painted wall than a golden background 5) Typo found, Golden Background: "Golden Backgrond"

Other things I could note: I like the "Rub Me" easter egg on the rubber pad. Good job with the game.

For those who were playing this game and getting irritated because of impossibility of getting the last medal: I had a talk with Applessmillion and the thing that was probably worrying you - the prices of the Offline Watts upgrade are now also being reduced by the Price reduction upgrade, the issue was fixed. You only need to buy one more and if this won't work - get another price reduction upgrade and now it should definitely work. I just earned the last medal and I can guarantee all of you that it is now much, much easier to get it, because the prices of the Offline Watts upgrade were also revamped.

I played the 2nd game and thought i should play the game that started the whole electric rubber series

Even after upgrading the daily bonus past 500, I'm still not getting the 'Overnight Success' medal. Upon opening the game it seems I'm given a '750 Watt bonus' regardless of how much I've upgraded that stat... which I assume isn't how it should work? If I am missing something here, a clue would be nice, hoping to get that medal too and complete the row. :) Also a bit annoying is the mute/unmute button not working properly, but at least you can mute Flash directly via Windows, so that's manageable. Another small bug: the interface upgrade you get from the shop doesn't 'fade' as the others do when you buy it, so it looks like you hadn't bought it. And it feels like the counts on upgrade prices when you cheapen thm by X% is a bit off and quirky, but mosts parts do work!

Overall, this was a tasking but fun game. Tasking in that you can't let it just idle by itself, but have to keep checking back on the battery as it fills up. The rubbing mechanism was interesting too, though in the long run the idle upgrade is the one where I placed all my focus. Took sooo long to get that final Money Decreasing upgrade up to lv 50, but it was worth it! Fun game.
