It seems like a decent idea. But I can't rate it as highly as I would like to because of the flying part of the game. There is absolutely no warning as to where the stuff is falling. Of course with the exception of the follow your heart part. And following your heart gets you hurt in the end. Love that metaphor. I'm assuming that you have more clever and artistic in the game like that, but I couldn't get anywhere because there is no warning. You have to just luck out and hope that you chose the correct side. Please let me know if I am wrong and I just missed some subtle detail. A subtle detail is all it really needs. I would also recommend a horizontal layout for the the dual screen part of the game. You could have it split screen with one character on top and one on bottom. This would give people a much better chance at the part where they are running towards each other.

I actually enjoyed it very much!
Cool idea, great music, good art BUT for the love of god it would be considerate of you to have a trigger warning somewhere, because the end sequence could very well trigger seizures. I got a bad headache from it and it kind of ruined the experience a little bit.
Also, having Z and X as the only options makes it sort of hard to play. Maybe Z and M would work better?
Boring idea.
Pointless, with nothing but an obnoxious jumpscare waiting at the end.
