Reviews for "The Clock & The Chaos"

Beatifull in its simplicity, yet fun in its difficulty

While I'm not familiar with the five-minute jam, I cannot imagine a concept better suited to the same. No game has made me appreciate the value of five seconds as much as this one. Despite the extreme brevity of any given play session, it does not feel short or confined; and the replay value is inexhaustible. I also thought it a nice touch that the clock accurately tracks the length of your play session (though I find I rarely had a chance to look at it).

A definite challenge for completionists, though. I never thought I was going to get the "against all odds" medal.

morazor responds:

Good job on that medal! I never got it myself :D
The five-minutes jam is a jam focusing on very short games lasting less than 5 minutes. I found it very inspiring because it narrows the scope of your project: you got to work on something very simple, very short and try to polish it as much as you can.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm happy that you enjoyed it!

It reminds me of "American McGee's Alice", almost the same atmosphere, the same uncertainty and terror. With every second it is not known how devastating the impact of the tower has a spell

morazor responds:

Wow! Thanks! I never played "American McGee's Alice", I've just seen some screenshots and art related to it. I'm gonna give it a try :D

fast past game keeps you on your toes and more medals to achieve

I love it. I enjoy the challenge of it so to say. It was hard to understand the first try especially with getting use to the controls of how the little "Robot" (What I call it :P) walked. but after you got the hang of the controls and to shift between them fast enough you find it easy and enjoyable :P
