Reviews for "Pokemon Campaign"

OMG, This is amazing!!!! I love this so much!! it reminds me of mystery dungeons a lot, but this is way better in my opinion. <3

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! That's super high praise. I'm glad you liked it so much!

It's pretty fun! I don't have the most optimal computer, but it still seems to work pretty well. I was a little confused at first when it came to how to talk to people, but after I managed to talk to Professor Juniper (via mindless keyboard slamming), I laughed pretty hard at her reply.

OrangePylon responds:

Glad that line was appreciated! Thanks a lot.

This reminds me a lot of Mystery dungeon. Thank you so much for making me think back of it! I would buy it right away again! :D

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! Don't sue me, Nintendo -- here's proof that I'm making you guys money!

verry neat game !

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks, dude!

A pretty good game, but unfortunately has bad lag, particularly in the graveyard area. It's probably that spotlight flare effect doing it. Playing on lowest quality.

That makes the Cacturne quest absolutely miserable. Aside from that area the game was manageable, though I've had others tell me it lags up unplayably for them even at the very start.

Charmander is the best starting choice. Other than that you'll want a Dratini as soon as you can get one and a Wingull is quite good early on but you'll probably drop it later in the game.

Once you get an Onix he will probably be your go-to Pokemon.

Got a Lapras. Ditched him for Dratini even though I maybe should have kept Lapras. Doesn't matter that much as they're very similar except Lapras is extremely rare and slightly better book stats, but didn't notice much difference in actual use.

You also definitely want a Butterfree at some point.

And you probably don't want to drop the Girafarig as I don't think you can get another.

OrangePylon responds:

That's a pretty succinct tier list, I'd say. Basically anything that's very fast (hits the cap of 80 speed) or anything that's actually fully-evolved can outclass everything else. You're always able to win using your favourites, though, which I think is a big draw for Pokémon fans.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
