Reviews for "It was almost an invocation but it wasn't or was it?"

That was delightfully fucked up, good job man

I would very much like to see more animations in this style by you :)

I thought it was very humorous and creative. To take something gruesome and make it silly takes talent. Love it.

Quality work, so I give you props for that. The music and the old style animation was well done. Unfortunately this left me feeling a bit disturbed, so I can't really say I enjoyed it.

I wasn't sold on the excessive violence or what I think is the intended message: namely, that those who criticize some people for their actions are somehow secretly desirous of engaging in the same activity — or worse. This is an old psychological assumption that has never been substantiated to my satisfaction. Still, even if we admit that hypocrisy manifests itself in this way, it's not clear to me why the religious are always targets. If criticism of a group of people is evidence that the critic secretly desires to be like those people, then it seems that those who criticize the religious are just as secretly desirous of being morally upright as the religious are secretly desirous of being morally debauched.

Unfortunately, we always seem to point our satirical fingers at the religious critics and not the critics of religion. It's tiresome, repetitious, and, in its own secular way, preachy.

One bright star for some excellent World War II era music and another for the brilliant old-timey animation. Minus one star for the violence, another for meeting my lowest expectations, and a third for making me type out this review.

Weird animation.
