What inspired me? It's just part of the Technical Dave series, a retrospective in my life through college.
Why guitar? Cause don't we all wanna be badass rockers? I know I do!
Liked the storyline as usual, but a couple 'hesitant' issues...
Not too sure yet (admittedly early to tell yet) about changing the shading technique from the way your earlier work has been done. Of course, art is about continual evolution and growth. So I did mean 'hesitant' not exactly a reluctance... We'll just have to see...lol
Miss the narratives... Even that you want to evolve, those still add a dimension from what Dave's thinking as much as anything to do with telling the story. It just seemed to come across as a little 'flat' or... 'grey?' for the lack of narration...
...Not that this was bad of course. As always you define your own style and admirably tell the story, and it's generally a story worth telling. Keep on keeping on, and it'll either work itself out, or more adjustments to come...
