i have also some fast tempo tunes, from funk to rock, but i like slower tempo ... to get the groove right ;)

I've heard funk

I don't know why your funk music is like this, or the other funk music on this site, but personally, loops don't sound good to me. I mean, it's not like the end of "Hey Jude", where it keeps being added too and it sounds better, this is just repeated things, and they are so basic. Guitar on plays 2 notes, and the same way the entire time, yes, guitar is a part of funk music. The bassline is also repetative, which is basically the center of funk music. I may seem harsh, but it takes time to create good music, not just half an hour on a computer program.

PS. For those who stroll around and whine about people giving actual critisizm instead of posting "awesome", and "best ever!!!", if you find my review offensive, put an abuse sign on it. If you find my review actually vives critisizm, and you want it to go away, why not making longer reviews yourself.

sorohanro responds:

i hate loop based music too, we might fight on the same side
well, is better before criticize to take a deeper look, that way you could find that my music is not loop based, actually i'm a classical trained musician, working in a Philarmony Orchestra, playing trumpet, guitar and piano, writting music for movies and theatre plays and playing in several bands-from funk to jazz and blues to rock ...
guitar plays a 5 notes groove to:
1-build up tension
2-not to steal attention from the main line
3-keep steady while harmony changes
i like to have same line while harmony changes, give new points of view on same melody...
as for bass, is not repetitive at all, on "chorus" repeats you can hear different tricks, from the funk line, bass is changing to a swing/walking bass line.
also every phrase ending, bass is making different fills...
so, here, listen again and check more before you accuse
