4.5 stars because the creativity is amazing. I love games with heart!
This is the coolest main character design I've seen in a while. In the first place, what even am I? I also love that I'm just thrown in there with no warning or instruction. Feeling like a stranger in what looks like a hostile land is a good beginning. The art is gorgeous, even more so the inside of the pub. The ending bit was exciting!
My only complaints are: (1) the vertical motion is very slow, I didn't realize I could move vertically until the door bit; (2) the sound effects, e.g. the running footsteps and the water pouring, are a bit lacking.
Looking forward to the next installation!
