Reviews for "Primal Champions"

What's the point of tapping the Q and A keys if you only attack with it. If you could charge attacks or if tapping them exactly when they charge gave bonus damage, I would understand. But the way it is now, I can literally just mash the keys and not pay attention. On top o that, it seems to be an endless grindquest. The exp distribution makes no sense. It looks like you get more xp for finishing off enemies, but that concept doesn't go well with high dps-low dps pairings because you have to wait to allow the other person to attack, and thus extend the grinding process. You then potentially take damage which forces you to return to the checkpoints to heal, which also wastes more time.

MonoFlauta responds:

Actually, at level 4 you use W and S too, and at level 8 E and D and then at level 12 R and F. I guess is our fault for not being clearer on that but we supposed you were going to play it least till level 4, sorry about that, I invite you to play again if you want.

Is not an endless grindquest, I mean, you have small seconday quest per world and then the main quest you finish in the world number 5.

About the experience, actually it is a random for each one. The probabilities say that if you play with both of them alive and finish each fight with both of them alive, the most probably thing is they get level 20 (top level) together, but it can fail. Maybe this wasn't the best decission.

For last, about the checkpoints, we though it wasn't a waste of time since it makes you to take a decision to go back and heal, or keep fighting. But is just our opinion.

Sorry for my english, my native language is spanish. Hope you find this answer useful and maybe want to give the game another try :)

OK./..I understand the move toward tablets are making gaming much worse. Now games are designed with crappy controls in mind. But if you want us to play it on a computer also, allow us to use the far superior control scheme and leave the crappy controls for the morons who still thin a tablet is all the rage.

More of a proof of concept than an actual game.
Really all you do in the game is spam qweasd.
But catch this - if you spam too hard your characters may get stuck and you need to lose the fight to fix them.
There's some enemies that have reflect shields or whatnot, but you can still just spam qweasd and win.
The experience screen takes forever, and so does travelling from one circle to another.
There's multiple characters to chose from, but this is completely meaningless as there is no replayability of the game, considering how tedious it is in the first place.
The "quests" are alo glitched and compeltely stopped working for me once I reached Afterlands, which is okayish I guess seing how there's absolutely no purpouse to them.

I'm giving it 1 star because at least it seemed to work from start to end for me.

The game is fun, but the final boss is just unwinnable. I cant even figure out how to get to the brunx pier or whatever its called. the final boss does too much damage and kills you almost instantly after he transforms. even using primal power wont work.
i used cog and tindra, thought the toughness would help, but of course, it didnt. game seems pretty unwinnable to me. anyway, fuck this game, 2 hours spent playing just to find out i cant fucking win. awesome.
