Reviews for "Kill the Plumber"

Pretty good little game here. A few of the Lost Levels certainly had some challenge to them. The one where you're the big ghost chasing the plumber on the skateboard-like thing could use a bit better spacing. It became more of a case of waiting for the random generation to work out in my favor than anything else.
Also, the "kill plumber 100 times" achievement seems a bit much. I found myself sitting here after everything else was done (all achievements, etc.), just playing through the second level since that looks like the fastest kill.
Oh, and the replay button (rarely) would stop working. The other buttons worked, just not the replay level button.

Overall, though, I enjoyed the concept and the execution was pretty decent. I'd like to see more levels using the Whomp-like creatures as those were the most fun for me.

keybol responds:

thank you for the bug report. I'll get on it. for the Big Ghost chase scene, I feel that too. Maybe I don't have to randomize the incoming obstacles, at least there's anticipation there.

Good but there is one glitch I need to point out, on level 11 in world 1(or other levels with moving platforms) when you put your baddie on the moving platforms the platforms move but you stay in one place.

keybol responds:

oh yeah, I haven't polished that one. thanks for the feedback

Very fun, yet not too challenging. Good difficulty spikes, and easy medals. 5/5!

keybol responds:

thank you! tricky medals though :D

This reminds me of Weebl's Inverse Shoot Em Up. It's still a great game by its own right. I was amazed at how good the artwork was. I can recognize your style. The sounds are wonderful too. Everyone's done a variant of Mario.

It really was creative. You had a lot of different characters to play. I guess that makes sense within the context of the game. I can see why it's so popular. It's simply a smart, charming game.

Interesting and original game concept, instead of being the hero like we always are this time we play as the villains, even thou we're still apparently the heroes since we're defending our kingdoms.
Controls were alright, a bit too slow for my taste. The music eventually got repetitive but at the start is was really nice and catchy. The visuals were very close to resembling the Mario universe (i understand that due to copyright reasons you couldn't make it look 100% the same), they looked very polished and well done.
