Reviews for "Spacejacked: Endless Mode"

This was a rather strange game, but I did enjoy it. I was surprised at how hard it was. It was really unlike any defense game I had played before! The music is nice and futuristic sounding. The enemies were pretty well designed too. I only wish there was more way to understand what was going on.

There just seemed to be too many rooms to go to. I guess that was still the original part. I still get into how difficult it was. Those guys had pretty long health bars. Wait, isn't that a kind of food?

rottenmage responds:

Thanks for the feedback, Ericho! I don't know what kind of food green balls of slime are, but I don't think I want to find out XD

The extent to which resources have to managed is unreasonable. The budget is too tight to defend more than one room at a time sometimes, and having to run back to the other parts of the ship to deconstruct all your defenses when you'll have to rebuild them a minute later becomes terribly frustrating, especially considering if you leave a room unguarded for long you'll have to dump some of your overly-limited resources into repairs. Fun stuff, but not fun enough to put up with for more than two or three plays.

rottenmage responds:

Hi LordXanthus, thank you for your very constructive feedback! We've designed the endless mode to be especially relentless, so it was intentional for players to deconstruct turrets every so often to obtain the required amount of metal. We probably have to pay a little more attention to the difficulty though, lest this whole process becomes tedious. Look out for the full version of the game, it'll have more modes and features =). Again, thanks for playing!

Really good game :) 5/5

rottenmage responds:

Thanks =)

Please include check-points, at least every 5 levels or so. After 3rd attempt and coming relatively far (for a first-timer) I just lack the patience to go though the first 10 levels which I already figured out...

Aside from that: Great concept, cool retro-design and challanging game, I like it :)

rottenmage responds:

The endless mode does not currently support any checkpoint features, but the campaign mode will (eventually)! Thank you for playing! =)

Great game,Neat design and Great Soundtrack but needs more metal :D

rottenmage responds:

Thanks! There will be ways to recover more metals in the campaign mode after we're done developing the full version of the game! We're also constantly tweaking the game balance - so we'll definitely take your suggestion into consideration =D
