Reviews for "The Wild Demo"

Pretty solid all the way around. I really liked how you had to combine items to make stuff you needed to live. I just wish there were some more things to do besides grind for stats and supplies to increase the re-playability. Maybe next time build on the combining engine to make more stuff, add metals, and/or introduce an end game goal such as escape, rescue, or complete mastery of all skills/stats and this will be a front page master piece. Again, really solid game.

danman113 responds:

Hey, I'm glad you liked it and actually left a very legitimate critique. Yeah, in terms of gameplay, it is lacking in late-game content. The game DOES already have mining, but it's a little complicated and really only viable in snowy areas. I was going to add a building features, but a good building system would have taken one hell of a time to implement. Perhaps in a sequel somewhere down the line!

Happy crafting!

This is just a demo so my expectations were low, but I think its pretty good but I suggest a easier to understand combat interface.

danman113 responds:

Yeah, the interface for the combat probably does need some more explaining. As I said it was the last part I added so it's pretty unpolished.

uh, how do i play?

danman113 responds:

Click on the "how to play" button to bring up an in-game wiki with information on how to play. Basically you walk around using the arrow keys, pick items off the ground with z, craft items with c, and survive and thrive!

I love it! It was more fun than I expected!

danman113 responds:

Super glad you enjoyed it!

Doesn't work. Loads 83/84 assets then crashes. I press space and the whole thing just disappears. Sorry

danman113 responds:

Strange, what browser are you running it on? Did you try refreshing? PM me with some information and I'll see what I can do.
