Sorry, Mike, but I didn't like this short at all. -_-
Don't get me wrong, it's well animated and the timing of the sound is excellent but the subject matter it presented was poor taste, at best.
Turning a common thing (ie hunting, fishing, making a puppet or, in this case, eating lunch) into a punishable crime may have been amusing during the golden and/or silver age of animation but, at a time when people in the real world are being bullied/killed for being colored, for being poor/homeless or any other ridiculous reason, shorts like this rub salt into the proverbial wound.
If the other shorts you've posted here are any indication, you are capable of far better animations than this and I am confident that you will develop something that outshines what the professionals have to offer.
(With what's been passing for 'entertainment' lately, I don't think that will be too difficult) ^_^U
Although you've 'stumbled' a little, in this case, always move forward for true greatness cannot make itself. ^_^
