Reviews for "Judge Dredd: Superfiend"

Great stuff! Randomly browsing front page and figured this would be a short animation. After a while, I was pleasantly surprised to find it's nearly half an hour! (A compiled series of web shorts, I see) Haha! The work that must have gone into this... Glad I watched! Very cool, and worth the view for sure! As a fan of the shows that inspired the look, I enjoyed the visuals. Well done.

One thing that was bugging me: The song at 21:08. I can't seem to find it in the credits. Is it one of David Saunders' songs done specifically for this animation? Will it ever be available for download or something?

That was great ! A masterpiece ! I'm shocked that this "just" got a "Daily 4th".
Guess there were the wrong judges right out of the academy at the NG-portal.
Sentence: 5 Stars ! Even though I really want to give more.
Thank you for this movie, it has great quality. That sure took it's time. I admire your work.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Animation successfully captured the 90s MTV look and feel, and I was actually surprised how well voiced the girl and Dredd were. The story had an interesting flow, and while I can't comment on how well it syncs up with Dredd comics, I did enjoy it at the very least as an Elseworld-styled story.

If I had nitpicks I'd say that the short relied a bit to much of pausing to see Sydney do a creepy smile for it's mood. He was most interesting when he still showed a variety of expressions during the run of the short. Also while I understand the greater complexity involved in chase sequences, it was still a shame to see the animation style not be half as detailed or well shot as the rest of the short.

Still, nitpicks aside this was a great watch and not once did it feel like it was as long as it was. Would love to see more of your work.

Oh wow, that was certainly a lot more and a lot better than I expected. Strange and disturbing but incredibly well done. I also looked it up and can't believe this was (mostly?) canon.

The artistic choice really matched the messed up theme of the Judge Dredd comics. I thought the voice acting was good, not great, so it could use some work. Overall the cartoon was pretty solid. Keep doing what your doing!
