One of the biggest problems with this is the fact that there is no color blind mode in the game. When I'm not able to tell the difference between some of the pieces, the game goes from a nice little distraction to a frustrating experience.
The rest of the game was unremarkable. The sound is functional and the visuals are forgettable. This is a good start, but adding color blind modes in as well as adding some variety to the level backgrounds as the levels progress would give for a more memorable experience that allows everyone to enjoy the game.
I somehow managed to discover Bubble Spinner only 2 weeks ago. I was surprised to see the exact same thing in neon here on Newgrounds. Good timing, I guess. A good game, but nothing great.
this is an interesting take on this game type. i'm referring to the physics component.
i'm curious though. are you actually computing moment of inertia or is it just a "distance from center" ~ "imparted angular momentum" kind of deal?
either way.. add some subtle particle effects to highlight collision and get some sound and music. extra points if the music is actually just ambient synth or something instead of some jarring crap
