Reviews for "-Orr- Christmas Eve"

Accents/Crescendo

I really wished you would have made more crescendos in your art piece. For example, why are you holding back at the beginning and end? The trilling, firstly, seems like someone who is not self confident, when you should have it saying “Here I Aaaaaam!” The percussion is slightly held back, and I don’t really hear any accenting in much. I love the crescendo transitions though, and how you put in various parts. I need to ask you something, so that it would sound more professional and we could spot places out for mistakes:
Find musicians to play this piece if it is made by computer.

Crescendo more at the end; it’s not a very large contrast to go just from MF to F. Would you please try growing from MF to FF? It gives a more dramatic feeling if you do so. My overall rating will be an eight, if that’s okay with you.

Mind this is my first ever audio review, and I may have missed things.

P.S: I can see this can become a masterpiece, I wish you luck.

Hey Egan,

Trust me, I am not holding back at the beginning and the end! I have it as loud as it can be without starting to distort (if you listen carefully you can hear some slight distortion at the end). Perhaps I could soften the middle section to allow for a greater dynamic contrast at the beginning and the end? Certainly something to try out!

I'd love to find musicians to play this piece. If only it were that easy :D! I've got an orchestra available that could play this, but I'd have to just through some hoops to make it happen, and I just don't have the time right now to pursue it :(.

You sound like you have more musical knowledge than many here on Newgrounds. I'd love to discuss more with you!

Thanks for the review, It would be great to see you drop by the audio forums sometime!
