First off, I wanna start off saying welcome back! It's good to see you again and, not only that, but also your work! It goes without saying that I just love what you do and it's cool that you're alive and kicking!
The Tragic Trilogy is, without a doubt, one of the blackest comedies I've ever seen. Each of the shorts presented all had different plots and characters, but all had the same device: hilariously sad stories. Reminded me of the old Twilight Zone series (which I love!), each episode was different but ultimately all shared the twist ending or something fairly similar to it.
Well done!
Personally, the one with the piggy bank got to me. Now that was horribly hysterical!
And the easter egg? I probably laughed more than I should have, but honestly, who wouldn't in a story revolving around an old rough n' tumble gunslinger from the west arguing with an angsty annoying teen about who had the shittier life, all the while an infamous deceased serial killer is going about his pole dancing routine and decidedly pissing off God?
At the same time, if the player were to go exploring to the right side of the theater (your right), and go upstairs, you find an unidentified man watching a loop about a man who made a cake for his wife because he loved her but then ate it. The scene was a little weird, it being a little slightly misplaced, the t.v. static in the background as you climbed up the stairs, the guitar strings strummed in such a plucky unnerving way. A little creepy, but the short little anecdote offset it and made it eerily charming.
But really, what can I say that already hasn't been said before about your work?
All 5s, 10/10, and have a Happy New Year!
