If he'd been paying attention, maybe he'd have been able to see some red flags that she was a human-eating MONSTER. Lovely stark art style, I've been seeing that bold flat color style a lot lately, and the character design was nice. Reminded me a bit of Adventure Time, which is probably why I'm crushin' on monster lady. :P
