Reviews for "Last Town"

Its a great stragey game and its also has a adventure to it at all. Hope there a next one.

Awesome game. Plays well. I like the variety in units, and the splits were cool because it forced me to branch out my upgrades. One thing that annoyed me though was that you lose the Cleric in the end no matter what. Put a lot of points in Cleric and a lot of my strategy was based on them. However, it did force me to rethink my strategy and redirect points to up health and defense. Overall I really liked it. Wish it was longer, or had an endless mode. A way to sell or simply remove units would be nice as well. Also, there is no description for the last Cleric upgrade. Is that a glitch or does it actually do nothing?

Cool music. Reminds me of Sonny a bit.

I wish there was a way to sell units for a percent of the original apples back. I was one enemy away from finishing a level I'd struggled several times over to do, I had a unit left but they were too far away to reach the enemy as they broke down a wall. Being able to sell and buy another would've given me the last little amount of apples needed to put another unit down and win.

fun until u needed to split then it was just never ending loss so it failed there

Overview - A Plants vs Zombies style Tower Defence game where the player takes command over a small cartoon town populated with Farmers. While not delving into the plot too much, the Town is under attack by an un-dead army raised by a witch. As you progress you unlock new characters, advance abilities and rank up specific units.

Gameplay - The gameplay is simple but rich. Units cost a base amount of 'Apples' and their cost increases by about 20% each time you buy one (does not effect other units). Apples slowly generate and can also be used by a specific skill. Skills are bonuses each unit can use. For example the Farmer can plant a tree in a plot on the base map and it will quickly produce loads of apples for about thirty seconds. Skills can be developed like abilites.

Strategy - There are many strategies possible, popular ones being 'Javelin Throwers' and farmers with upgraded range. I used a team of Archers at the front backed with Farmers until I swapped tactics to Javelins, Assassins and Farmers. In-fact, Farmers have been widely considered as an 'Overpowered' unit. They are tough and cheap, making them excellent front-line units and their apple tree skill is incredibly valuable

Story - The story is fairly light but not enough to leave you clueless. Almost anyone will grip the story fully. It also revolves slightly based on your actions, rivalries and bondings can be made a couple of times. Spoilers are featured around the comments section.

Overall - The game is light and quick, barely a two hour game let alone a four or five hour game however the story is good enough to keep entertaining and different strategies and ability paths can be chosen. A sequel could polish it up so much and make it so much more better.
