Very creepy game, leaves me on edge even after I stop playing. It's also a pretty difficult game XD I can't make it past Night 2. Like several people have said, it's similar to FNAF, particularly FNAF 4, but there's also a lot that makes it its own game (Also, this came before the 4th game!).
Both this game and FNAF 4 hit really close to home, throwing my own experiences back at me. To elaborate (Rant incoming!): As a kid, I would sometimes either have trouble falling asleep or wake up in the middle of the night and then lie awake for a while. At times like this, I felt like there were terrifying monsters, either from a game my dad probably shouldn't have let a six year old play or from my own imagination, watching me from the corners of the room; behind a bookshelf, peeking out of the closet, maybe even outside in the hallway. My imagination was so wild, I could almost see them. Even though I was having trouble sleeping, I would never leave the bedroom to get my mom. I wouldn't call for her. I wouldn't get up to get a glass of water, and I would only use the bathroom if I absolutely had to. Little six-year-old me thought that if the monsters got any indication that I was awake, they would kill me, so I would hide under my blankets, lying as still as possible, praying I'd live to see the next day. THIS GAME captures that feeling of dread very well, which is a very good thing for a horror game to do.
It is a bit glitchy at times, though, which is why I can't give it a perfect score. But overall, a deceptively minimalistic game that hits terrifyingly close to home.
