Too much work for too little payoff. If it had more typical Breakout-style power-ups other than the extra ball mechanic (i.e.: temporarily wider paddle, faster paddle speed, changing the properties of the ball, etc), it'd be slightly better. As it stands, the extra balls on their own are too overwhelming and it becomes a chore to even get them (especially since the extra balls gain speed whereas the original pink ball doesn't). Speaking of, the falling power-ups drop at practically the speed of light; you have to re-center your paddle in the middle of the screen if you want enough time to react when one falls at the corners of the screen.
For all the game is, it's passable. It could be a lot more, but it isn't. Play it if you have some time to kill (or, if you're bad at Breakout, want to make yourself angry).
