I played the original back when you made it. I thought it was great then, and I think it's great now. I absolutely love the new endings. I have always been a fan of multiple endings in games. It gives it a lot of replay value. On that note, THANK YOU for including a save feature. You don't know how many people include multiple endings to a 30-minute game and DON'T include a save option! So I really appreciate that.
The controls are a lot more fluid in this version. I did occasionally randomly get stuck on walls, but nothing too major. Medals would be nice, but really, why the crap would anyone care too much. It's just freaking Newgrounds. The characters wandering around was a lot more realistic. I liked that, even though it was a little annoying trying to go grab a character that you left for just one second.
The story was excellent. I loved how it was told and I loved exploring and figuring it out. I didn't record my initial reaction to each ending, but I was super excited when all the pieces started coming together. In one of the endings, I was required to make a quiet character randomly give information to another. I'm still not sure how exactly that made sense, since the character did not know or care about the other, but other than that, I think most of it was pretty fluid.
Again, I absolutely loved this game. It is currently my favorite on Newgrounds. I really appreciate all your work and I look forward to anything else you might create. Thanks! :)
