Art is a question of yourself, nobody can teach you how to make art, and basically most of times university majors are pointless cause they prepare you for nothing... But well i loved your animation n_n If this is your story well good luck, in my perspective you are already an artist
Things are a little bit different here where I live, but hey! I have met plenty of those "teachers" before art school. Yay.

I will say that I had some good academic experiences with English departments at a couple colleges, but it largely comes down to having the right teachers. There's a lot of what you show here in academia, unfortunately, stuff that's supposed to prepare you for the competitive markets of "THE REAL WORLD," but this is proof that much of the enjoyment and creativity of been sucked out of the creative industries in favor of some bogus professionalism... much of which produces crap anyway. The teacher who asks you to draw to music is the only one showing any sort of exploration here. But you may have the same problem with that sort of class as I have with most writing workshops. I don't NEED to learn how to channel creativity. I'm already connected. I learned that when I was 15.
