Almost perfect.
It almost felt like a real classic console game. The 2.5D graphics, the 16-bit music, the sound effects, almost everything flows together. I say almost, because it's a demo and not quite fully functional. The special ability thing, which I presume is some sort of healing, was not working for me at all. The timing for the combos felt irratic; every time I go to execute a particular combo, it was like I had to time the button pressing differently than before. And, of course, the lightning is just too fustraiting to not fix. If you could iron these details out, you'd have an excellent improvement on and surpassing of the Samurai Asshole game.
