Reviews for "Ninja Yubi"

"Follow Attacks" were sometimes too hard to perform.

Evil-Dog responds:

Sorry to hear

Pretty good game, my only complaint is that I cant find the musician on the music.

Evil-Dog responds:

I bought the music from a site

So, pardon me if I have any spelling issues/grammar problems, but right now my head is pounding from that adrenaline rush of a game.

Combat, Awesome. While it obviously has been done before, the sound effects, flashes and the in general positioning of them made the combat feel VERY alive, and caused me to nearly have an heart attack as the level progressed (Stuck at level 12 because I'm a scrub)

The Music helped make it all feel like Max Payne on Steroids with fifty pounds of coke in your system, impossible to think straight, but extremley rewarding and primalistic look to it. It's like pumping in John Rambo shots into everyone who participated, and everyone chanting out "I was in 'Nam!"

Even though it is obviously ment for mobile phones and such, it felt as if it was a good enough game to be on Web, considering my body's shaking and my head is off the charts.

The Models (while not of the highest caliber, of course) made the game feel unique in the sense of a web browser, and just helped fuel the rampage as you tore the living crap out of every single enemy.

The Techniques, however, were a bit dissapointed. Since I was fueled in pure adrenaline and such, I never thought much of that button in the bottom right corner, which more or less could've saved my ass NUMEROUS times, if it had been bound to a key, like T just so you can quickly equip a technique (although it can be abused to pause time and give you a better look at where to swipe)

The Prices seems relatively BS at first glance, but since it's a Mobile Game, I can see how it can easily last 20+ hours of someone's relatively boring waiting time (which I endure everyday) into a full out war at the buss with you shouting at everyone to bow down and kiss their sorry ass goodbye.

The Voice-Acting could however use some more people on it, just to make sure it doesn't feel like you're fighting the same 1-2 enemies every time, but I merely looked over it as I just wanted to see red.

This is one of the few games I found myself spending hours on, smashing numerous keyboards and my table (which I'm glueing back together right now, thank you.)

In the end, the experience felt as if it was all Max Payne with music from all the action games (good ones) combined with QTE's and all types of mind-blocking drugs. All primative thinking was used by me during this. And I loved every moment of it. However, you could try and make it so there's a quick-to-use button on the keyboard to bring up the Techniques, as on the Mobile Phone you have the ability to quickly press it, while on the Keyboard you must smack your mouse over to it, smash in your mouse and then toss the technique randomly. More Voice Actors could also be used in the future (maybe there are more? Just havn't heard any else then lvl 1-12)

Evil-Dog responds:

Good points man, thanks for the lengthy and very encouraging review! I'll definitely tie the power button to space bar and check with some VAs to add a bunch of voices for variety. Also changing the finger indicator for a cursor indicator in the tutorial :)
If you have other thoughts, PM me I'm all ears

Nice E-Dog! Free to play=Good to play! Anyways it was Great! You never let me down... Wait, How the hell did it get less than 4 stars!?!?

Evil-Dog responds:
