Reviews for "Viking Valor"

Awesome game with neat graphics! Though both of my cannoneers are maxed out and I didn't earn The Big Guns medal, plus I've finished the game and didn't get the Finders Keepers medal.

Cool game

Some framerate issues with the animated traps, but that's about all to really complain about. It was quite short took me 30mins to fully complete and unlock all the medals. Bit grindy if you waiste your skill points early on. The character design was decent, damage curve was smooth enough to not make it all to difficult.

Some possible improvements would be; fast forward button, option to remove traps (if it's possible it's unclear on how to remove them), unlimited mode and custom lvl edidtor for that unlimited mode.
To come back to that last point (lvl editor), some features you might want to look into for that. custom waves, adjustable minions (health/speed/damage), start conditions (gold, upgrades, etc.).

Great game, 4/5 because off the frame issue and the small grinding part. Hope to see a sequel or prequel (where you have to create waves to steal the diamond or such).

My first observation is how there are a few reviews that are all 'good' with "People find this review helpful!" on them.

That's a little shady. It's actually considerably shady.

The game is well made, but not well balanced. You can farm early levels and work out an optimal trap spread that defeats the purpose for cannon upgrades. Spells never came into play with my experience, and I only replayed perhaps two levels.

I suggest adding a bunch of stages that ramp up this balance and difficulty change in a way that challenges the player dynamically. As it stands now... if you pick the right traps and build them in the right order... you're golden.

Don't get discouraged. Your game has a STRONG foundation and plenty of potential for enjoyment.

Not bad. After the first two levels, it becomes very obvious that the traps are more or less useless since the cannons become so powerful. Aside from laying out a field of slowing traps, there is no reason to pay attention to money.

I also hit level 99 only to find that I didn't have enough skill points to purchase the last upgrade, which was kind of a let down.

Great graphics but got no challenge in it, perhaps difficulty levels would be a lovely addition, most traps are useless, could beat the game using only one and find 3 traps to be useful in the game.
