Reviews for "Tesla Defense 2"

A wonderful game.

This is very much a fast paced tower defense game which has quite a good difficulty curve.
The only flaws i had was there was a sound loop of tesla's main attack that carried on throughout the game, even in the menu also was very short.
Albeit short those minutes were great fun.

graphics: Perfect with nice background, destruction on the playground and smooth.
Difficulty: started out just with my mouse but on the second round knew i had to use the numbers as it is very fast paced. nearly died at one stage but worked through the game with zero deaths so could be a tad harder (and by tad I mean add like 10 more strongish enemies so very small boost in difficulty)
Music/sfx: except for the electric loop, everything fit in well.
Story: Who needs one when you can just throw the player straight into the chaos... I usually don't agree with this but in this case I think it worked. Putting in a short "explain what the hell is going on" would have just been a waste of time for you and players (might have increased the play time but would slowed the pace of the game).
Gameplay/controls: simple yet very effective. easy access to placing towers quickly and using power attacks.
Medals: way too easy to get. add something to make it harder so people have a reason to play it again.

All in all fix the loop, add a never-ending mode (with some sort of health regeneration in it) or something to increase the play time and then this game will be perfect.

Cool game :) The action imo is a bit too chaotic, it turns mostly to bashing 1..5 in the end, wonder ift that could be improved in next edition.

Well this game is pretty fun, but really not much of a problem as a lot of very vocal incompetent players make it out to be. It's not that hard half an hour and I was able to complete all 15 waves and get all achievements.
Never had to retry a level once. Action chaotic but controllable.
Unfortunately a lot of "gamers" can't take the heat and start accusing the game. Pitiful.

Learn to play, and don't give bad ratings because you suck. Game is good.
Would have been the icing on the cake if upgrades changed the look of the main tower, still the tower guards were just too cute, half a star just for them.

As per the bosses, do you guys know you can shoot down the missiles with the cannon? And the droid who stops you from firing can be hit while they "recharge" (no waves effect around them) their power.
Final boss fight is way too easy, spider thing went down pretty easy.

Pretty good. Only real complaint is the boss wiping out all of yourtowers in the middle of combat if you dont kill all the enemies first. And the missles. Shooting them down was a little hit and miss.

Tesla Defense 2 is a decent TD game with basic easily achievable achievements, many enemies, upgrades and so on.

I played and got 100% of the game in a single run. The game took me about one hour to beat. I had fun. Planting mines and then blowing some ground units up, while spamming air towers to keep those annoying Missile Planes off my ass. However, it was quite annoying, when the zapping noise glitched out, and kept repeating itself, EVEN AFTER I HAD MUTED THE GAME. To solve this problem, I muted my whole computer. It's also quite annoying, that when you die (which luckily didn't occur to me at any time), you don't get refund of the upgrades, that you've bought before the round, so you have to keep repeating it, until you finally beat it after the 45th try.

The game did have many GOOD things, even if it's buggy or "hard". For example, most of the TD games tend to get really easy, once you've maxed out everything. I had almost maxed out everything at wave 21, but the game managed to strike back, and stayed balanced, without suddenly becoming easy. The variety of different enemies was large. There were basic gunners, Gatling gunners, UFOs, Planes, and even huge Spiderbots. The most annoying ones were those weird looking flying things, which shortened your Tesla gun's range. Bosses were also quite an easy feat, and I didn't really get mad at any point of game, for its difficulty.

Overall: Tesla Defense 2 is your average one-run game. It has everything, a normal TD game requires, making it decent.

My final rating for the game is: 4 picos and 4 stars.
