Reviews for "Galactic Paperboy"

Yeah, agree with the lower comments. The game itself is quite cool, but the tutorial shouldn't keep advancing even if you lose the ship. I literally went through the whole tutorial section by failing and had not the slightest idea on how to do the first actual level. Fix that, and you're fine.

Yup, you couldn't get it the first time so instead of suggestions on how to play the game, we will just ramp up the difficulty. BRILLIANT!

As much as i LOVE sarcastic 0 star reviews, I'll put a few bits out there because there's definitely truth to your main point..

The game's obviously not perfect, I doubt anyone who enters Ludum Dare is entirely satisfied with what they make. There would have been a free range level where you can just spam rockets to get a feel for it - but I dropped it as I had no time. However, you can press R to restart the game (handy when you've spent a couple of levels figuring it out). The levels deliberately move on because of how I wanted the score to work.

I don't like the level design so much, I did it all near the end when I was shattered. The tutorial had to be cut out due to time, so I put the texty bits in as a guide. The controls are a bit odd, I know. It started life as a tablet game but I changed that, again due to time.

Sorry you didn't like it...

Great gravity engine, graphics are sweet, game play is nice, I skipped the instructions and didn't notice that you have to click to send out papers. Had to the the description. Either way great game, keep up the good work.
