Well, you left me speechless.. in a good and bad way. (you don't know how much I RAGED with the bosses!) nonetheless, everything was perfect, the arts, the music the story as well! It truly deserved these five stars.
I...just wow, man. This game is amazing. The art of this game combines Retro with Modern, the characters have a lot of depth, even for those few NPCs and it's amazing to feel your progression in the game. The only problem I had was the combat, which, while it feels great for only ground and air attacks, can feel a little weird. Other than that, keep going! I know you're making a sequel, so go for it! This is my favorite game I've played on Newgrounds!
Really well thought-out game. The characters and side quests were great. My only comment is to make an option to have it mouse controlled. I ran into situations where I accidentally used an item I was trying to give away.
