Reviews for "K.O.L.M. Prototype"

Nice game for an alpha. Controls are strong, music is nice, visual effects are good. The voices are not great and the game has a very hard Unity feel to it. Not to say that Unity is a bad program, but just feels like a Unity game.

Good Game.

The-EXP responds:

It's not a Unity game, it was made in Flash :p

:0 swwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt game the sound of the mother and the staring of the games was nic

I love KOLM (the 2d one).
And this one feels even better.

My only gripe would be MOM's voice. I am not sure she needs one. Or at least not at first. Maybe an ear upgrade could be worked out in the late stage of the game instead ? It's just an idea, but I feel the more confused the player is at the start of the game, the better. Or maybe just more distortion.
In comparison to other sound effects and the protagonist bips, her voice seems out of place. But not in an uncanny way, just in an out of place way.

Other than that... Everything feels just right in this demo. And by that, I mean... this deserves to exist.

very nice remake of a very nice game. kinda sad to see that the kickstarter had already started and failed before I even saw it...
that being said, one of the things you still can do is try to take the feedback, make it better, and try again when it's fixed up more (supposedly... never used kickstarter myself)

that being said, as to what you have here:
music and voice acting I thought were defenitely good enough. while I can see why people would say mother's voice is a let offputting, I realize this is on purpose.
graphics are a lot better then the original, however, this is where I had to take off a point. while the graphics are amazing especially with it trying to be 3d graphics, the graphics do not indicate enough of the 'row' of tiles that you actually need to worry about. also, the glare on each block was a bit to much, overall becoming more distracting then pretty. if you could tone down the brightness/glare on it and especially the background/foreground blocks I think it would've helped.

Wow! That project awesome!
