Having a great time with this game. My only complaint at this point is that when you energize Dark Ritual, shouldn't it multiply your DPS by 2.1 and not 1.1 considering double of 1.05 is 2.1?

Fun idle game, good interface, fun to play.

what is the point? There is no challenge to this game. Once you get DPS you could literally just leave your computer open walk away and you'd be playing the game.
if you like leveling up and collecting gold but hate actual gameplay this might be the game for you

Finally decided this game was a waste of time, and that I'm going to stop playing.

This game is obviously addicting and makes good use of my 12-15 clicks per second arm (yes, I can actually click that fast with my finger by tensing up my arm; it's an acquired ability), but that's about it. Having so many heroes just feigns that fact that there's almost no *REAL* customization for most of your upgrades with gilding and ancients being the only exceptions, but they're hellishly expensive for how long it can take to get the damn things unless you've already been playing for months. Most importantly, upgrading Cid becomes completely useless at lv150 because powering her up more doesn't multiply every 25 levels like the other heroes, even though it should (gold dump towards another hero soul is a sorry excuse imo, but it seems to be the only one thus far).

And when I first played, no main menu? Really? So disappointing considering virtually EVERY game has one, at least the complete ones...

Would have rated only 2 stars, but at least you're updating this, so I'll be generous and give you 3. My synopsis on the rating is:

1. Lack of a main menu (-0.5 stars)
2. Lack of total freedom when upgrading, all you can buff 95% of the time is damage (-0.5 stars)
3. You're not doing anything other than clicking, waiting, and clicking even more... Also, I'd say even 2.5 minutes can be too long a cooldown. (-1 star)

And above all, this may be great to play if you have little to do with your life, but if you're someone who's serious about working at their job and/or has a 3.0+ GPA in college (I have the latter, working on the former), playing this game is a horrible idea. That's the majority of where going from 3.5 to 2 stars comes from.

The bonus star due to frequent patches comes from the following possibly being added to the game:

1. Add a Main Menu with a Start Game, Instructions, and Options menu, as well as a Hero Lore button where you can view additional lore about the heroes.

2. Every 25 levels progressed, lore about another hero or event between the heroes (like the war(s) between fire and ice mages) could be unlocked. The first bits that could come pre-unlocked include why you started the adventure in the first place and Cid's Bio. I'd expect these bios to be around 2 to 5 paragraphs long.

(lore idea gives more incentive to play up to further levels)

3. Speaking of Cid, allow her upgrades to multiply every so often so boosting her past 150 is meaningful. Boosts from hero souls alone is laughably useless most of the time.

4. There really needs to be an ancient or something that increases your critical click chance (+1% per level, maxing out at 25, giving you 34% critical chance after getting the hero crit chance upgrades and maxing out said ancient). I really like how Idle Pixel Slayer allows you to have 100% crit chance all the time, so this game really pales in comparison to that.

5. Update the UI, which can be done a number of ways:
A. Allow us to minimize the upgrade panel so we can see the background behind it. Could be a nice change of scenery after looking at it for so long, and some of the zone backgrounds look nice, so it's a shame they're covered up so much to begin with.
B. Make the text bigger. Had to CTRL + Mouse Wheel to zoom in just to read it.
C. The info panel looks like it could fit 3 other tabs. Any plans for adding more tabs (alongside hero upgrades, achievements, etc.)?

6. Give us bonus hero souls every so often. For example, maybe give tons of hero souls to people who have at least 3 ancients, or an ancient at max level as a patch bonus every so often. Or, you could give the option of summoning certain level bosses (a new tab on the info panel?) that gives you heroes souls based on their level, but you have a limited amount of time to beat them up as much as possible for maximum hero souls (say, half an hour?). Also, don't make us ascend to actually get those hero souls, being forced to start all over again to get hero souls normally is bad enough.

7. Perhaps a 2nd new tab could be used to access minigames that give an income boost or bonus hero souls?

If you put in these things, this could be a much better and far more interesting game. I have to admit though, even if this game was perfected, I'd still prefer Idle Pixel Slayer over this. I might come back some other time if high quality patches happen, but other than that,

I like it, but have a few complaints. 1. Either add some heroes in-between Frostleaf and Dread Knight or lower Dread Knight's price. 2. The one song that plays gets kind of annoying so i usually just mute it. I'm not saying make a whole sound track, but 1 or 2 more songs to choose from would be nice. 3. Z, Shift, and Control keys don't always work.
Other than that this is a WONDERFUL game
