Reviews for "Ymotana"

It's misleading this is tagged as "adventure", it's a rhythm game. But (a) it seems the game doesn't even spell "rhythm" right, (b) as rhythm games go it is poor - you need to change the beat a bit or it's just repetitive, (c) the descent would have been more interesting if anatomically accurate. Half a star for the ending tho.

hehe
just smashed this thing together in a few hours
its not my proudest work

Really?!?! did not need to see that. this should be marked adult, not mature. not to mention it's a rhythm game, not an adventure game.

Guy-Unger responds:

yea, you're right
but whatever

had to zoom out to 90% to see the whole game. i've noticed that quite a few games on this site have the same issue, on both this pc and my new one. you should look into that.
also, what button am i supposed to use? this game has no explanation other than to 'follow the rhythm', yet i have no idea which part i am supposed to follow or what to follow it with... i liked the sounds and the visuals, after pressing every single button on my keyboard i am forced to assume that this game doesnt even work... you need a tutorial of some kind other than just telling us to follow along and not giving any other info. sorry about the low rating, but im sick of seeing games on this site that are completely unplayable due to a complete lack of explanation.

Guy-Unger responds:

I'm sorry, this game was aimed towards people with a brain
if you cant figure out how to control i gladly invite you to not play my games ever again :)

I have not got THAT.

Tho the final" joke I got earlier))

This might be fun. For Some players.

This game is really awful and painful to play. It's like DDR, if DDR never changed rhythm. A simple change of order each level would have made a world of difference and timing cues or time bonuses. Plus some change ups in each level. Otherwise it's monotonous.

The ending however, is superb!

Guy-Unger responds:

agreed
glad you like the joke :p
