This is awesome. The "cartoony" look and theme is cool, the music is nice, and the graphics aren't so bad. The controls are kind of unintuitive, though. It's not a big issue to change them, but the defaults should be WASD for movement (including jumping), space should be shoot because it's used frequently, and Z should be bombs. The arrow keys could be for aiming. Overall, it's a great game and you did a good job on it!
