It is good but
the fur doens't flow, almost looks like it was painted on, or in boxed in. Too clean of a cut.

yes, that's true, I tried to keep it short so it look real, but Iy dpes look all the same now. still, not much of the 3D artist here in the NG dares to use the fur or hair.

This is nice and like you said a good wallpaper but there is something wrong the creature needs more life like feel to it, maybe a differant pose would help on that, regardless you did some nice work here
