Reviews for "'Sprouting Frog Waves'"

Pulent animation. The art is amazing. Congratulations.

Butzbo responds:

OMG it's Mister Paint!, you made that comic about the "Salsita"!

It was indeed quirky and peculiar in an intriguing way but it fell short in my opinion of five stars because the main character was not expressive enough.
**spoiler**
When the main characters get trapped, they don't seem to react or express much emotion.
The unique touch, feel and look, and the characters design was extremely well done.

Butzbo responds:

I have to agree; while I'm glad with the results, I still had to cut some additional takes that could have been useful to build up on the frustration of the chacters. specially when the fly finally gets to the top of the eye's pupil and fails to open it.
Thanks for the review!

I loved it. What a cute little animation. Everything just looks so... fuzzy. :3
The sound was good. But what was even better was how you were able to tell the story without a single spoken word.

Now I want a little truffle-hunting flying piggy! *_*

Butzbo responds:

I would like to have one aswell!, Heheh, it was one of my first attempts in making some kind of 'companion' character for a story.
Thank you for the review Dak!

Amazing work. I absolutely love the sound effects.

Hah, froggy fresh! :D You really have an interesting style of animation, seems like I recognize that it is you who makes the animation via the style rather than the username, which is real neat. Most artists nowadays seem to be going with the same one, that exaggeratedly cartoony and obvious, but this ones subtle and creative all the same, with a dwarfed sort of form for each characters, and squiggly; rounded forms when possible. I did like the sound, both the ambiance and the symbolized lack of it, twas a fun trip!

Butzbo responds:

Thank you CD, it's great to know the style of characters it's becoming recognizable :).
