To be honest, i don't think you need to update the drums they sound good. It's a little repetative but that's ok. I don't like that wierd percussice sound FX you use, it sounds a little tacky and spoils the song. The main riff is awsome.

Okay...influence...seems we got some Metallica and Slayer influence on this. Too complex to be a Cannibal Corpse song, though it is comparitively as heavy and brutal. I also sense some German thrash influence. =) i love it. Keep it up gorebastard.
