Reviews for "Super Mega Ultra Battle R"

really easy but I hate it when the boss runs into you

cant tell what every indicator indicate...
hate when the boss rushes to u
and need medals =P
nice game, smoth gameplay, simple controls 4.5/5

Pure fun.

I enjoyed playing this game as I really liked the graphics, as I always these made by nerdook :D, and the music was just great. Game is rich in content that allows the player to customize his mech in a number of ways, although I didn't have a chance to try and build my own glorious mech of total annihilation that would finally allow my to beat the mastermind of the commie hordes... as I have beaten the game on the very 1st try with the default junkie :/ .

That's why I'm giving the game 4 starts instead of 5, in my opinion the game would benefit from different sets of difficulty as well as from improving the bosses & battleships. For example, battleships could become more like mini-bosses making their appearing more punishing, they could be more sturdy and have shields like bosses but these wouldn't be activated after the battleship has been damaged. Bosses could have a number of skills (depending of difficulty) that would be randomly generated. Lastly but not last, the last boss would be more fun to fight if the combat with him was multi-phasal, changing his tactics as the combat goes on.

Putting all together, the 4-stars rating is given for the lack of challenge rather than lack of quality. But as I've mentioned before, I enjoyed the game as I do with most productions of nerdook, so cheers to you and keep on making those little masterpieces! :D

As far as my record goes, I am a big fan of arcade games, especially shooting. Mecha with lots of awesome weapons, nice graphic which rather silhouette styled (like color find art style), and some seriously, enjoyable nice music, this game is simply fun.

To be honest, before I see her name, I thought Natalie is a boy. The same old school reverse-trap trick like Samus from Metroid. Kinda left me dubstruck for a while.

The lack of tutorial (seriously, no at all) is problematic. You know.... the moment you play, there is not even a clue that you can also fire with K other than X. It only mentioned on the Hangar, and if people didn't see it, some people will instead keep using X even though its hard to use....just try use WASD on left hand and X on right hand.

The shield recharge is also...I don't know. You assign the same button for shoot and recharge, so we never know if it really work or not.

Oh.... that DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM joke start to get me. It was funny at the beginning cause its the right and perfect stigma of America. Firing guns and kill everything in total explosion awww yisss murica. But its soon get old, I mean.... we all know its a bullshit anyway, so this is kind of tick some people, especially the "America Save The World!", it just leave me "what the holy.....are you kidding me?"

Set aside the problem (lack of tutorial and button assignment), the game was fun. Not the best, no story and too much american-propaganda, but it was a fun game. Just thats it.
