cool game... the movement needs work, though. on level two i had to try several times to push the stone without falling into the hole. i would let go of the right arrow key and the character would keep walking... i also noticed that this issue comes into play when changing directions. i mean cmon... we've been able to get past this sort of issue since pokemon blue and red.
otherwise, this was a fun time.

Nicely done, the atmosphere and game design as a whole felt like a NES title of it's own
(Ah, now that others have mentioned it, yes, this reminds me of Lolo's Adventure)

Only some cosmetic issues, other than that I found no bug:
In stage 2-8 (Introduction of magnets), the hint sign's last line
"I also works through.."
should be
"It also works through..."

Also, the image at the right is wrong, it shows red magnet repelling while blue magnet attracting; the image at the left is correct. red attracts, blue repels.

I think you can add the sprites that shows spikes protruding from the ground for the eye monster. Right now you just go "puff" and I feel it's a bit lazy. Or you can just go the other way and change the spike to a mouth/black hole to match this animation.

Lastly, at times (I think it's mostly in stages with artifacts), when you get the artifact and the medal,
there seem to be a sort of sfx outburst, and I had to constantly tune up/down the volume.

Hope to see some back story if there's a sequel! 4 stars.

Thanks a lot for the heads up on the magnet tutorial! Fixed now.

I just finished the game and got 8 artifacts and got the medal for it but for some reason i didn't get the pleasing efforts medal. I bought the other three artifacts and got the other medal just fine after replaying the last level again, but still no pleasing effort medal. Also it seems like either the hit boxes for the enemies/objects are lagging behind its sprite and/or my hit box is moving faster then my sprite's actual movement. For example, on one of the levels the "bull guy" is stuck behind a rock and you need to move it in order for him to charge at you. I move it, he starts charging, I move away, he's off the tile to my right so I move and I die. Another example is that level with the magnet and you need to let the "steel block" go through the exit door, I'm at the end of the level, I flip the switch, the door is opening an the block starts to go through the door so I move and I die. But despite that, fun game, loved the puzzles, and the music. I hope to see more.

This is a good mix based on the ideas of "The Adventures of LOLO II" and "The Legend of ZELDA". Well done.

Nice little game, excellent level design, good mechanics. However, the tutorials are a little confusing and difficult to read.
