Very good animation. However the writing was lacking and nothing was really keeping my attention. If more episodes were already out, I would not have watched the next one based off of this.

Meh. Not very good writing, it's just another pokemon parody only with a more crueler setting, like having pikachu roasting over a fire.
Try something more original, it doesn't have to be brand new but doing a parody of pokemon has been over done over even dragon ball z anymore.
