The graphics are nice. The sound is alright. The gameplay is too simple and repetitive plus there is no difficulty setting. It would have been much better if there was a "hardcore" mode. The game requires a slow response from the player and then relies on upgrades. If the cats were instead not so "tankish" and had less health but were attacking from all directions (quickly) and were able to deal more damage the game could have been fun for more players.
graphics and upgrades are nice, took me awhile to figure out that the weapons are charecters and can die lol, but overall nice game :)
the only knock i can currently give against this game is the lack of medals for the players. Besides that, it's a well rounded and polished game that will challenge and make shooting cats that try to attack your boat in every way possible (by raft, from balloons, viking ships, flying,) very enjoyable. the presence of various fighters with their own strengths and weaknesses along with powerups for each fighter adds an element of difficulty to this game in the form of "which guy do you choose on which level?" my personal preference was the machine gunner pretty for the first part of the map (pre ice), and that's as far as i got at the time of this review. i am planning on finishing this in the future, just don;t the time for it tonight. 4.5 furrballs up for this game. the only reason i can;t give it 5 is the lack of medals.
I was never much of a cat person anyway.. Slick controls. Entertaining shooter all around.!
