I don't quite get the joke here. I don't know what's the word on the street is about the Oculus, and I don't understand what's so wrong with Facebook buying joint shares with it (I'm not exactly in the know here...). I keep seeing little jokes and memes on how Facebook and Oculus is a bad call, but what every single joke does is expecting you to just get it when you see it.
I didn't get it.
I don't know how to rate this, since I don't understand the funny, so my ratings will be unfair. Here's the thing, for the short five seconds, the animation looked nicely done, so there's a star for that, if I knew the joke, it probably would have made me chuckle, but with how swift and simple you made your point, it felt like a big waste of time, you would have been better off drawing a motionless meme than animating something (Like everyone else, this whole week I've been seeing pictures of Oculus with Facebook, and someone crying, falling out like you have shown in your animation, or holding a gun insinuating they wanted to kill themselves). I don't think this was very original, so you probably should have made the animation a bit longer to stand out from the crowed.
Also, I don't know if this counts, but I'm really out of the loop here, and I don't know why so many people are upset over this collaboration (I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just saying I don't get the funny), you would have gotten a vote from me (and cleared up a few things) if you showed why it sucks so much, instead of just saying point blank "Oculus + Facebook = I is kill'n ma self right noa!!1!". Once again, I'm probably the lame one here, because I don't understand what's going on, but that's kind of your duty to make sure everyone get's the joke, and not just those who already know the joke (if everyone already know, then you wasted your time showing it), backing up your argument with a few examples on why this is so bad would help greatly, and probably make the short funnier.
Off of the animation and story itself, I personally didn't like how you arranged the flash, it turned on as soon as my screen loaded, and since I'm a bit zoomed in to fit the website, I had to scroll down quickly so I didn't miss anything; plus when the animation ended, there was nothing else to do but stare at a Facebook "like" thumb, no replay, no noth'n, Jesus (though, no offense, I can't begin to imagine who would want to replay this). Basically what I'm saying is make a play button, I don't like things starting when I'm not ready for it to start, and secondly, replays have been shown to be a worldwide good when it comes to every media, so think about that to; without those things, it gave me a rather sloppy feel to the animation, you probably should have put this in Newgrounds media player thing to save the hassle.
