Really nice take on the "match three or more" genre. I liked the music, too. The Oni fight especially!

I really like the concept of taking the really old or really common game styles and turning them into something new and fresh.

Right level of challenge. The movements are a little slow, if not boring, but really nice design on many myths otherwise unknown.
While this is an undeniably addictive game, and a clever mix of combat and puzzles, I have to agree with other reviewers on some features.
*The shield and reflect are very under-powered,and in the case of the shield, it happens to also be a bit misleading. Most people see shields in games, and think that they will prevent the damage, rather than reduce it.
*Also, there is the matter of every fight being an 'all or nothing' in regards to how much money you earn per fight.
*As for the enemies...They really should be underpowered a bit more, or have a larger overall set of stats for Meowra at the beginning, rather than making it all dependent on the right array of tiles, (Right place, right time) at the beginning of each fight,or nearly so.
I must agree with people who were written reviews before me. This game is unbalanced a bit, but this aspect makes it challenging. Also, happened to me few times, that the game froze and neither boss nor me were able to make a move.
But I will not complain, I spend quite a good amount of time playing it. It's very addictive!
And nerdy medal is really nerdy ;)
