Reviews for "Faint"

I would really like this game, however, the whole monster part is frustrant, you pretty much die if you stop pressing something, you dont know what you had to press and wheere the enemy is and the whole monster part is useless. I wouldn't mind the game if not because the place is too big for the rendering, and you may end up actually lost and without idea of how to unlock the endings.

...?
Is it all there? You get chased you die? That's 2 fu***** minutes of gamplay! WTF!

um, guys? how do you open the door? can't get past it. i press enter or space in front of it and nothing's happening. sorry. i'd really like to play it.

the sound effects are extremely annoying. every time you press a key it starts over

The mention of headphones gave the impression that this was going to use directional audio, but that doesn't seem to be the case? For me all it seems to do is change the volume level based on distance to hidden objects, which doesn't actually help locating the source of the sound the way the character's closed eyes seem to indicate. I even tried closing my own eyes, but that didn't help.

As another reviewer mentioned, the whooshy movement noise also makes it frustrating waiting for music to fade in and out between steps. Silence would have been better while walking.

A possible straight up bug was when you found an object, it didn't continue playing that object's music, and instead either played the walking woosh or silence. Because of that I often didn't get to hear very much of the music at all.

It looks like a neat idea, but it's bogged down by the implementation that makes it a frustrating audio version of a pixel hunt.

It's weird, it should have directional audio. As you mention, it would be more frustrating if it didn't have it. I'm sorry you didn't like it that much, but your comments are useful and I appreciate taking some of your time to write them down them down. Thanks!
