The mention of headphones gave the impression that this was going to use directional audio, but that doesn't seem to be the case? For me all it seems to do is change the volume level based on distance to hidden objects, which doesn't actually help locating the source of the sound the way the character's closed eyes seem to indicate. I even tried closing my own eyes, but that didn't help.
As another reviewer mentioned, the whooshy movement noise also makes it frustrating waiting for music to fade in and out between steps. Silence would have been better while walking.
A possible straight up bug was when you found an object, it didn't continue playing that object's music, and instead either played the walking woosh or silence. Because of that I often didn't get to hear very much of the music at all.
It looks like a neat idea, but it's bogged down by the implementation that makes it a frustrating audio version of a pixel hunt.
