Reviews for "Faint"

Awesome work! Loved the gloomy atmosphere, the artwork, the whole concept was well stressed and deep. Kinda reminded me of Steven Wilson's "drive home". Great work guys.

I like the idea of character closing his eyes and listening to music as way of revealing things but game fails at mechanics. Character is terribly slow and player has no idea what is supposed to look for.

...I don't know how I did it, but I managed to open a developer console of some kind.

The game is very poetic, but has "okay" visuals; since the game is about hearing, and not seeing, it's understandable.
I was stuck for a solid 5 minutes, as I thought you were supposed to listen to the wind... you should change the instruction in the description to "stop an listen", to make it clearer.
After finding the tree, I got stuck though. I tried to listen all around the level, but only the sign in the middle would activate, and then the enemy keeps killing me regardless of what I do: I tried to stop and listen, run around, hide under the tree. After 8 tries I found out that you were supposed to head to the exit. You should make that clearer.

If you tap your right key (or any key) repeatedly, the sound glitches a little.

Anyways, I love this game! I can't figure out the meaning of it, but the incredible music, and the contrast between terror and peace (the monster's really scary ;_;) made this game a very original one. (FINALLY a poetic game about music!)

Fairly short, pretty thoughtful. Its a pretty good idea, id like to see it more fleshed out into a longer game.
