Reviews for "Nothing To Hide"

Gonna be a buzzkill and report a small glitch for ya. Clicking on skipping level automatically gains you the medals. All. Of. Them.

I'm really liking the concept of this game. My only complaint is that it runs too slow on my machine. Puzzles can drag on for a good while when I have to backtrack. I highly recommend a quality option.

I love it when games break the mold and do something completely unorthodox
First off, Music: HalcyonicFalconX you have made yet another memorable masterpiece. At times I thought I was playing Bioshock with the jazzy tunes and then the dissonance sets in. A combination of a Patriotic Hymn and a distorted mess combined with a SciFi Espionage beat. The feeling while playing is eery and somewhat desiring to dance. If like a stop motion protester pretending to pay attention...
Art: A cutesy geometric shaped 50's style similar to The Incredible's mixed with subtle character awkwardness, eye twitching and spooky light play. I don't need a grandiose over the top Modern Warfare graphics, I need something that compels emotions and this was outstanding.
Interactivity/Gameplay: I haven't seen an anti-stealth game before so this was an eye opener. While playing I thought I was playing a stealth game with one crucial helpful difference... I could see where I need to place my character! As a result I felt less like I was batman and more like I was in a puzzle game. My favorite part about the game play is there was no point where I felt the game was impossible. Leave that for the bonus levels or an 'impossible' hard setting. I want to have fun in my games not a sense of deep despair! Although...
Plot: This is where the game shines. As extra credits points out we don't need words upon words upon words to tell a story although little snipets on the walls and her tweets help. What a game needs is NARRATIVE, and that is where Nothing to Hide absolutely shines. I felt like I was stuck in Aperture Laboratories during 1984 with Big Brother taking the form of Glados. This gives me an idea for the story to continue. Have parts of the game in blocked off rooms with graffiti to hammer into the player certain phrases that compel us to associate the graffiti with emotion. A sort of, inner story to the main quest of the game that the players have to find. Since all of us love achievements, make it an achievement to find all hidden rooms!
If I could give a higher rating I would and seeing how the game is going to be made in full, please post it on Newgrounds and Kongregate, I won't be able to wait.
Oh and for the politicians out there... Remember that we are Anonymous, we won't forgive, we won't forget for We are Legion!
