Reviews for "Dead Zed 2"

AWSOME

This game is super fun, or at least I think so. I keep playing it over and over. xD

Seems like some people have a little difficulty with the survivors dying. My advice on that one may help.

The biggest thing with your search group is looking for 1 shooting, 3 melee, and 2 search. It's counter-intuitive perhaps, you might think the 3 search would be best. I'll explain. 1 shooting is helpful because any higher lowers your detection rate substantially. 3 melee, because the higher the melee is the more likely your party will survive if they are noticed. 2 search, because, well, I never found a 1,3,3. If you are without a 1,3,2... I'd suggest tweaking to get highest chance of not being detected and highest chance to survive if detected. The chance to find something is important of course, but it's far more important to keep your party alive.

Another thing: the less party members in your search group the more likely you are to not be caught. I ended my best run so far with 3 of the 1,3,2's. 62% detection, 80% survival, and 73% search rate.

At the beginning of the game spend maybe a couple of encounters not searching for anything. That is, click the area you are on to deselect it, and then just fight zombies without a search party out. Go for head shots, get your time up to above 300, and buy the device in upgrades that makes finding survivors go up by 25%. You'll be glad you did.

Finally, make sure your morale stays high. I overlooked that my first couple of plays. Just try to keep your search party alive, and your morale will soar.

After that, it just comes down to managing weapons, survivors, and having a bit of luck. ^^

Final stats:
Score:14341
Kills:1144
Shots:1956
Accuracy:78%
Headshots:625

100 morale, 100% efficient shooters, 94% efficient melee, no survivors lost. Bradley Fernandez as my personal assistant. I guess the cat is latino?

good game, some tips
try to search the 2 rifle location for a spring field, using the corss bow or bow is suicide
when using rage, besure to use a weapon with a big magazine like the mac 10 and try to hit as amny zombie as fast as possible, DO NOT GO FULL AUTO, u wont hit anything.
for sniping, theres no zoom but there is a cheat way, right click on the screen and a white menu should appear, click the zoom in thing and u will zoom in, u can just zoom out when u dont like it, it blurs the image but does get the zoom in

I am afraid that this game is not what the creator was truly hoping for. Because, while it has the components of depth, it didnt go far enough to really cement that feeling of realism that he might have been going for. But what is here is very fun, the shooting is very tight, even if I wish their was an iron sights function. As for the survival aspects, its not bad, it has great potential its just not enough for me.
If this is the developer's first crack at this kind of game he is on the right track for sure. Adding just a little bit more depth to the survival aspect of it would really make this a 5 star game to me.

I would have given this game 5 stars if it were a little harder to survive, and if all my survivors I had searching didn't die. I didn't even try to finish the game because I couldn't get any more weapons, since I had no one to search. It would be better if the survivors that search either can't die, or the chance of them dying should be about 1/4 of what it is.
