Why was the kid worried about his lifetime supply of fruit rollups? Why is the second, wished for, 'better' genie not better than the first genie?

My wishes would have been
1) All wishes i make are to be made the way i intended and only changeable/removable by me.
2) The ability to copy any power or ability i have seen in the past or present.
3) The ability to alter any copied power or ability to remove any limitations or requirements.
That way i have not actually mentioned extra wishes in any way, but could technically copy the Genies wish granting ability and remove the 3 wish limit and the inability to grant my own wishes.
