Reviews for "Fist Puncher: SoO"

I think in my opinion that its a pretty fun game but if you get hit by his special he just spawn traps you theres just to many glitchs in this game i give it 2 and a half stars.

Shit I had fun! I love a good pixel ass whupping session

Too Easy........ Complete With Full Life (Unhurt) ^-^

OMG this game is so epic
i like this game.

Thank you for posting this 'minigame', Pesto, but I don't think I'll be supporting the full version. -_-

My problem isn't with the graphics or sound - those are fine. My problem is that the gameplay is severely watered down. You have your standard attack, jump, jump attack, special attack (in this case, a shoulder charge)...and that's it. No dashing, no grappling/throwing of opponents, no strikes while they're lying on the ground...the best beat-em-ups allowed their characters (and, through them, their players) to do more than that.

If you truly want to pay tribute to (or build upon) the greatest beat-em-ups of all time (ie Double Dragon, Combatribes, Captain Commando, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Vendetta or even River City Ransom), take the time to *play* them. Study their movesets, learn their 'ins and outs' and use that knowledge to make a far better game than this.

While this isn't the worst game in the world (and I've played some doozies), it is not yet worthy of even the current asking price.

You can do better (and, in fact, have).

PestoForce responds:

Please check out the trailer for the full game. This one is SEVERELY less developed than the Steam version. A lot of those features you mention are in the Steam version, this is just a quick "whet your appetite" game. I hope you give the real game a chance, it sounds like it'd be your cup of tea!
