Reviews for "Replay Racer"

great perfectly weighted difficulty. the better you are at the game the higher the difficulty. I like the fact that the cars are actually fellow racers and not ghost because it keeps you on your toes. It also forces you to either overtake yourself in the beginning or make sure you keep near your previous lap time. it's not forza but the concept works well in this flash game.

The game could be good, but needs some major control changing. While I disagree that right handed people are not used to controlling with their right hand, as anyone who realizes that video games DIDN'T started with Nintendo all grew up controlling with our right hands, which makes sense since it is the more precise movement required so why not do it with your dominant hand.

However, why make us use both hands at all? Every other racing game correctly uses up for accelerate. Sometimes, if it ain't broke, you really SHOULDN'T try to fix it.

Not a bad game but like others have stated the tracks get a little overcrowded...they need to be a little bit bigger.

This is a cool simple little racer game.
It totally reminds me of Super Sprint and Micro Machines for the NES.
As the other reviewers have stated, the "ghost" cars do tend to get in the way a bit and the tracks get over crowded.
Also, I kind of wish that the music was a bit more fitting for a racer game, but it's not a big deal.
Other than that, I think you could be onto something with this type of game.
Keep up the great work!

You have quite a promising arcade game here. I like the art style you chose, which goes along with the game well. The controls are smooth and responsive, which is needed for a racing game, even if it is just a time attack mode. What I like the most is when you have the ghost cars appear as you complete the laps, I can see it getting rather chaotic when 6 cars are on the track at once.

There are only small things holding this game back. The first is the choice of keybinds for the controls. While it helps if you are left handed, right handed users are not used to using the arrow keys for movement controls. I suggest including WASD keys as secondary controls or having an option which toggles between the two. The second problem is how you are able to collide with the ghost cars. Since they technically do not exist on the track, this shouldn't be possible. It also makes it so it is only possible to get the fastest time on your first lap, as they become unavoidable obstacles that you cannot steer around. I suggest removing collision on the ghost cars.

I hope you make some more cool games. Have a nice day.
